Plain English note: Sley is designed to give your agents a private place to work. Some tasks still require sending relevant data to model providers, connected tools, APIs, infrastructure providers, Dodo Payments, or services you authorize.
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Sley Computer collects, uses, stores, discloses, and protects information when you visit our website, create an account, buy a plan, provision a Sley Computer, connect third party tools, run AI agents, host apps, schedule automations, or contact support.
Sley Computer is operated by Convogenie Technologies Private Limited, a company established in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. When this policy says "Sley," "Sley Computer," "we," "us," or "our," it means Convogenie Technologies Private Limited operating the Sley Computer product. When it says "you," it means the person, company, organization, or authorized user using Sley.
2. Our privacy roles
For account, website, billing, support, security, product analytics, and service operations data, we generally act as the controller or business responsible for deciding how that information is used.
For personal data you or your users put into hosted apps, databases, files, automations, connected tools, or agent tasks, we may act as a processor, service provider, or similar role on your behalf, depending on applicable law and the task. You remain responsible for giving notices, getting consents, setting permissions, and having a legal basis for the data your apps or agents process.
If you need a data processing agreement, subprocessor list, security details, or a custom privacy arrangement, contact us at rahul@convogenie.ai.
3. Information we collect
Account and contact information
We may collect your name, email address, company name, role, workspace name, login information, account settings, support history, onboarding details, plan, usage tier, and communications with us.
Google Sign-In and Google account data
If you sign in with Google, we may collect the basic profile information Google provides, such as your name, email address, profile picture, locale, and Google account identifier. We use this information to create or sign you into your Sley account, secure your account, prevent abuse, provide support, and communicate with you about the service. We do not receive or store your Google password.
Billing and payment information
We may collect plan, subscription status, invoice details, tax details, billing address, payment status, chargeback status, refund status, and transaction identifiers. Full payment card or wallet details are usually handled by Dodo Payments or payment processors rather than stored directly by Sley.
Content you put in Sley
Sley may process files, prompts, messages, code, documents, screenshots, browser sessions, app data, databases, uploaded assets, secrets, agent instructions, scheduled tasks, logs, and outputs created by agents or hosted apps.
Hosted app and end user data
If you build or host apps, APIs, dashboards, databases, forms, internal tools, or websites on Sley, we may process data submitted to, generated by, stored in, or logged by those hosted apps. This may include data about your app end users, customers, employees, contractors, or other third parties.
Connected tools and credentials
If you connect email, calendar, Slack, Airtable, Notion, CRMs, databases, storage, GitHub, developer tools, browsers, model providers, or other services, we may process OAuth tokens, API keys, authorization scopes, account metadata, messages, files, records, calendar events, repositories, tool results, and other data needed to perform the tasks you request.
Google APIs and Google Workspace data
If you authorize Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, or other Google APIs, Sley accesses only the scopes you approve and uses Google user data only to provide user-facing features you request, run your agents and automations, maintain and secure the service, troubleshoot issues, or comply with law.
Sley's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
AI prompts, context, and agent activity
We may process prompts, agent instructions, model responses, tool calls, run history, memory, task status, code changes, logs, and context sent to or received from AI model providers or connected APIs.
Usage, device, and technical data
We may collect IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, timestamps, pages visited, referral URLs, product usage, compute usage, storage usage, bandwidth, errors, security events, audit logs, public endpoint activity, performance data, and diagnostics.
Website, cookies, and analytics
Our website may use cookies, analytics, or similar technologies to understand visits, page performance, signups, attribution, and campaign effectiveness. You can control cookies through your browser settings. If we add a cookie banner or preference center, you can use it to manage applicable choices.
4. How we use information
We use information to provide Sley, provision your private computer, authenticate users, run agents and automations, connect tools, host apps, store files, process tasks, manage credits, process payments, provide support, debug problems, secure the platform, prevent abuse, enforce terms, comply with law, and improve the product.
We may use account, billing, support, and product usage information to communicate with you about onboarding, setup, invoices, renewals, failed payments, product updates, security notices, support requests, policy changes, and service announcements.
We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand product usage, improve reliability, plan capacity, develop features, and explain high-level trends, provided it does not identify you or your end users.
5. AI agents, model providers, and connected APIs
When you ask an agent to work, Sley may send relevant parts of your request, files, prompts, code, tool data, database records, screenshots, browser context, or other task context to AI model providers or connected services. This can include providers you bring yourself, providers included with Sley, local models, APIs, or third party tools needed to complete the task.
For example, if you ask an agent to summarize unread email, the agent may access your email connection and send relevant text to a model provider. If you ask it to update Airtable, it may send the update through Airtable's API. If you ask it to build or debug an app, it may send code or error logs to a model provider.
We do not sell Google user data, use Google user data for advertising, or use Google Workspace API data to train, improve, or develop generalized AI or machine learning models. Where Google data is sent to an AI model provider or connected API, it is sent only as needed for a user-facing feature or task you requested or authorized.
Model providers and connected services have their own terms and privacy policies. Their processing, retention, training, abuse monitoring, security, and subprocessors may differ from ours. You should review those policies before connecting accounts or sending sensitive data through them.
6. Hosted apps and your end users
If you use Sley to build or host an app, you are responsible for the privacy and compliance obligations for that app. This includes telling your users what data your app collects, getting any required consent, honoring data requests, securing your app, limiting access, and providing your own terms or privacy policy where needed.
Sley may store, transmit, log, or process hosted app data as part of providing infrastructure, databases, storage, previews, public endpoints, debugging, backups, and security. We do not control what your app asks users to submit or what legal obligations apply to your app.
You should not use Sley-hosted apps to collect regulated or sensitive data unless you have confirmed that your use is permitted under the Terms of Service and you have the required legal, security, and compliance controls in place.
7. Dodo Payments and billing
Dodo Payments acts as Merchant of Record for payments related to Sley unless we tell you otherwise. Dodo Payments may process checkout, payment authentication, card or wallet details, invoices, receipts, taxes, refunds, chargebacks, fraud checks, and related payment records.
We may receive information from Dodo Payments such as your name, email, billing country, tax status, plan, transaction identifiers, invoice status, payment status, refund status, and chargeback status. We use this to activate plans, manage billing, provide support, reconcile transactions, prevent fraud, and comply with legal or tax obligations.
Dodo Payments may act as an independent controller, merchant, processor, or payment service provider for some payment information. Its own terms and privacy policy may apply to information handled during checkout and payment processing.
9. Sale or sharing for advertising
We do not sell personal information. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly used in California privacy law, unless we later disclose otherwise and provide any legally required choices.
We may use basic analytics, attribution, or marketing tools for our website, but we do not intend to sell your Sley Computer content, prompts, files, hosted app data, credentials, or agent runs.
10. Legal bases for processing
Where laws such as GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar frameworks require a legal basis, we process personal information based on one or more of the following: performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, compliance with legal obligations, and protection of rights, safety, security, or the integrity of the service.
Our legitimate interests include operating Sley, securing infrastructure, preventing abuse, debugging errors, improving the product, communicating with customers, managing billing, and supporting users. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw consent as allowed by law, but withdrawal may affect your ability to use some features.
Where Indian privacy law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, applies, we process personal data for lawful purposes such as providing requested services, responding to your requests, fulfilling contractual obligations, complying with law, protecting security, and other purposes described in this policy.
11. Privacy rights and requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, object to, or withdraw consent for certain processing of personal information. You may also have rights to complain to a privacy authority.
To make a request, contact rahul@convogenie.ai. We may need to verify your identity and account authority before completing a request. Some information may be retained where required or permitted for billing, tax, legal, security, backup, fraud prevention, dispute, or service integrity reasons.
If you are an end user of an app hosted by one of our customers, you should usually contact that customer first because they control the app and decide how your data is used.
12. California privacy information
If California privacy law applies, the categories of personal information we may collect include identifiers, commercial information, internet or network activity, geolocation approximated from IP address, professional or employment-related information you provide, inferences from product usage, and content you submit to Sley or connected tools.
We collect and disclose these categories for the purposes described in this policy, including providing the service, billing, security, support, analytics, communications, legal compliance, and business transfers. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of users under 16.
California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of, and limit certain use or disclosure of personal information, subject to exceptions. You may contact us to exercise these rights.
13. Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide Sley, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, secure the platform, prevent abuse, support customers, and maintain business records.
- Account and billing records may be kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period after cancellation for tax, accounting, dispute, fraud prevention, and legal purposes.
- Sley Computer content may be kept while your workspace is active and may be deleted, archived, or disabled after cancellation or termination.
- Logs, security events, diagnostics, and backups may be kept for limited periods needed for security, debugging, continuity, abuse prevention, and disaster recovery.
- Support records may be kept to help resolve future issues, maintain service history, and improve support.
Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove information from backups, provider systems, billing records, legal records, logs, or connected services you authorized.
14. Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including customer environment isolation where possible, access controls, logging, monitoring, secure infrastructure practices, secret-handling practices, and provider security controls.
No system is perfectly secure. AI agents and automations can also create security risk if they receive broad permissions, unsafe instructions, vulnerable code, public endpoints, or powerful credentials. You are responsible for protecting login methods, connected subscriptions, API keys, OAuth scopes, hosted apps, app users, and the permissions you grant to agents.
15. Your controls
You can control some data directly by changing account settings, disconnecting integrations, revoking OAuth access, rotating API keys, deleting files, changing app permissions, removing hosted apps, cancelling your account, or contacting us for help.
For connected services, you may also need to revoke access directly inside that provider's settings. For model providers, Dodo Payments, infrastructure providers, or other third party services, their own policies and account controls may apply.
16. International transfers
Sley, Convogenie Technologies Private Limited, and our service providers may process information in India, the United States, the European Economic Area, and other countries. These countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you live.
Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections, provider commitments, or other mechanisms recognized by applicable law.
17. Children
Sley is intended for adults and business users. It is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not intend Sley to be used for children's data unless we have a separate written agreement and required safeguards in place.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
18. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Sley changes. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and make reasonable efforts to notify active customers. Your continued use of Sley after a policy update means the updated policy applies going forward.
19. Contact
If you have questions about privacy, want to make a data request, need a data processing agreement, or want subprocessor information, contact us at rahul@convogenie.ai.
